Veterans Day

This is Joseph Ambrose, an 86 year old veteran of World War I.

It’s been a while since my last post, it’s been an unusually busy period of time especially as we move into the hoiidays. But I can say that Halloween was a lot of fun and it was good to have so many parents and kids over at the house. This has become an annual event, and we are grateful.

I’ve been particularly facinated with the Cam Newton stories floating around out there, and thought about commenting on that and may later at some point, but it appears there’s enough being said to do us all right now.

My preference is to salute our Veterans, and tell all of them how much I appreciate their service and sacrifice. We are free because of their actions in defending our liberties, so let’s take time to pause and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and their families. Let us also remember those who have been injured in the course of battle, and let us temper our complaints about how our lives are going with the understanding that at least we are free.

That’s a big deal. Thank you veterans.
